I currently use Ethno World 3 Complete in Giga Studio on my PC. I've just upgraded to Ethno 4 and therefore am trying to install it on my MAC to use as a native instrument in LOGIC. However, I haven't even got past the first hurdle yet! I am following the install instructions and the additional yellow 'how to get your Ethno World 4 serial number' leaflet to the letter, but the instructions just don't correspond with the install process that I am seeing in front of me.
I have to log-in and retrieve my serial number from the native-instruments website, in the support/updates/driver page by selecting my current product 'Ethno World 3' - but there's nothing in the list (obviously, my ethno world 3 is on my giga-pc because I don't use it as a native instrument) Does anyone have any ideas about how to retrieve my serial number? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Did the EW3 Giga version even have a Serial Number?

Even if there was a Serial Number card with EW3 Giga and you lost it (or there never was one) you will need to contact Best Service directly about the EW4 upgrade. Alternatively if you purchased the EW4 upgrade in the U.S. You could contact East West Soundsonline (the Best Service U.S. You will probably have to get a FULL Retail EW4 Serial Number from Best Service. As I understand any upgrade box will contain the exact same software as the full retail box, but the Serial Number naming schemes are different.
With Full Retail S/N, NI Service Center simply updates your NI User Account. With an Upgrade NI Service Center requires it can find information about your previously registered qualifying product. Basically I assume the only way an upgrade Serial Number will work is if you previously installed the NI EW3 version. Since you don't have that version, you really need a full retail EW4 Serial Number.
